My Kids A Hero a Review and Giveaway

Getting my kids to read has never been more fun and easier than with their own personalized stories from My Kids A Hero.

My Kids  a Hero is a great way to gift a book to a child that will really stand out on their book shelve. Each book is unique and no two stories are exactly the same. The books are filled with small details about you child, from hair color to their favorite things. The illustrations are all done in colored pencil and chalk and look amazing.

I received two books, one for each of the girls and was more than surprised at the high quality of them. The hardback books are beautiful leather-bound editions, with a small cut out that holds the title of the book and a few decorations.

This is Hayley's cover.

and this is one of the beautiful drawings inside the book.

Hayley got all excited over this one. She loves dragons!
Kyla's cover for her book is just as gorgeous.

Both of the girls just love their stories. When I first read Hayley's to her she kept stopping me to tell me that the girl in the book was her with a very emphatic, "That's me mommy, that's me." Her story is easy enough for her to follow along and not get bored with, something that is hard to do with an active three year old.

With Kyla I didn't tell her what the book was about. I handed it to her the day it came in and told her to sit down and read it to let me know what she thought about it. The squeal of disbelief and jumping of joy and excitement when she realized that she was the main star in the book left my ears ringing for days.  She quickly decided though that the boy in the book was actually Justin Beiber in disguise, then as she read on and realized that they got married in the end...well let's put it this way, she's been planning her wedding for weeks now.

My Kid's A Hero also offers custom bookmarks and book bags. For each you can choose the base color, the thread color for the embroidery, and the style of text.

Simple yet beautiful.

I really can't rave enough about these books. Between the gorgeous covers, the beautiful drawings, the great stories and the over all uniqueness they are a perfect gift.

Jodie has been kind enough to offer a personalized bookmark and book bag to one lucky winner!
